Your new debit card is on it's way!

You will be receiving a new tap-enabled debit card in the mail between now and June. Your new debit card can be used surcharge free at thousands of ATMs across Canada!

Use your existing PIN and you’re ready to go!

What do I do when I get my card in the mail?
Use the new card as you would the previous card, it will automatically deactivate your old card. You can destroy your old one.

When will I receive my new card? When do the old cards expire?
You should receive your new card around the middle of the month in April, May or June.

New cards will be sent in groups based on when your current card is set to expire so not all cards will be received at the same time, even if you have multiple accounts or more than one person at your address has a debit card.

Does my PIN change when I receive my new debit card?
No, the PIN on your new card will be the same as the PIN on your current card. If you’ve changed your current PIN in the last couple months your new card may not reflect the change and you’ll need to come into a branch to re-PIN it.

How does Flash (tap) work?
Interac Flash allows you to conveniently and securely make smaller everyday purchases at select merchants without having to insert your card or PIN. Simply tap your card at any merchant that supports Flash (tap) technology - it's quick and safe. If you wish to deactivate the Flash (tap) option, please call us.

Why are we changing debit card providers?
The decision to change debit card providers was made by the entire Canadian Credit Union system to no longer partner with a vendor that’s owned by one of our competitors. As a result, Everlink has been selected as our new provider of choice.
